Can you force browsers to save backgrounds to a different directory on Windows machines?

Everyone knows Microsoft by default is (and has forever) placed default desktop background images in the C:\Windows directory. Yet both IE and Firefox place images in completely unrelated directories if you merely right click an image in the browser, even with the most recent browser updates.

I know I can manually move files, but I’d rather not take the scenic route if I don’t have to.
Is there any hack to fix this? Thanks!
